Technically I don't know if that's even really true. I mean, Hammer makes it very clear, but Ward doesn't go that far. Ward just wants Hammer to come to his next fight at Oakland's Oracle Arena (IS IT A HINT? no), and Hammer was very excited about this idea:
Their connections are pretty obvious. Both are Oakland natives, both are very religious. I think it'd be pretty cool if Hammer wrote one of those awful rap songs that fighters love to have written about themselves, and Ward is already familiar with having terrible songs written about his life and trials and stuff, so that seems a natural fit. Or he could just come out to "Pray."

Remember when Hammer tried to go hard?

Well…Hammer is always around the fight game and is CEO of Alchemist Management which is managing a lot of very high level fighters in MMA. So…I guess it’s not out of nowhere to have him around fighters

Ward's entourage
If Ward would come out to both MC Hammer and Too Short, then Oakland may explode.
