The show is already live on BoxNation in the UK, so join us for some afternoon boxing from York Hall in London.
In the 10-round main event, lightweight contender Kevin Mitchell (32-1, 24 KO) is staying busy against Felix Lora (14-8-5, 8 KO), a Dominican-born fighter now living in Spain. It's a mismatch on paper, and Mitchell says he's taking the fight purely to get some rounds in and stay busy. He's not fought since his impressive win last July over John Murray, which won British Fight of the Year.

Mitchell is hoping to use this fight as a springboard to face WBO lightweight titlist Ricky Burns, who is in action on March 10 against Paulus Moses.

Welterweights, 8 Rounds
Bradley Skeete (6-0, 2 KO) vs Laszlo Komjathi (41-37-2, 16 KO)

Billy Morgan is up 3-0 on Dan Naylor right now.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Make it 4-0.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
4-1 Morgan. Naylor landed better shots in fifth, but this is basically in the bag.
I’m SHOCKED no one else is watching this, btw.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Actually, I mostly am, though this one’s such a foregone conclusion I went out to feed the birds.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
Pretty much a card full of foregone conclusions, really.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
im about,
just have to sort some things, then il be around
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Naylor really going for it in the final round. Good little scrap at this level.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Morgan got the W. 58-56 on my card, probably same on the ref’s card. Easy fight to score.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Billy Morgan: “I’m 21, I’m still a baby. This was the first time I’ve boxed a southpaw in a pro ring. … It’s learning.”
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Really good crowd here at York Hall. Place is packed.
Bradley Saunders pro debut up next.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Jeez some of these journeyman have a ton of losses. Jason Nesbitt (9-139-3, 6 KO), Matt Seawright (3-53-2, 0 KO), and Ryan Clark has 49 losses.
36_chambers_ofdeatH - February 10, 2012
Ted says that’s different in England than here, that they’re pretty good and really just go into the ring to teach, sort of glorified sparring, I guess. I think that’s what he means anyway. Not as battered as they sound, in other words.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
Yeah, that’s more or less the deal. A lot of these guys who are 9-139 or whatever are a hell of a lot better than some of these Oklahoma club guys who run up 20-0 records.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Who knew Daniel Craig was a fighter?
alargar - February 10, 2012
I like Saunders left hook
It seems fairly sharp
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Didn’t win pro debut in 1st round
Total bust!
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Remember when Degale got booed out of the ring....
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
what…?
alargar - February 10, 2012
Saunders gets a very premature stoppage over Nesbitt in his pro debut. Nesbitt was pushing him harder than may have been expected.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Why do young fighters always have a reluctance to go to the body? High guard = go to the body!!!!
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Weak Stoppage
Saunders landed some good body shots but I didn’t think that Nesbit was in trouble or anything.
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Frank Buglioni (2-0, 2 KO) vs Ryan Clark (2-49-4, 0 KO) up next
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Ryan Clark billed as “last year, he was the world’s most prolific boxer.”
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
pffft
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Love that uppercut
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Clark getting smacked around in round one.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Buglioni looks promising, moreso than Saunders, tho Saunders was OK.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
I like the changes in speed from Frank. Brush the hands, come with the hammer.
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Gettin caught with a couple of silly shote with his hands down
Could do with getting rid of those shit habbits
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
shots*
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Good eve all :) I ain’t got BN, when’s Mitchell on ?
Phill - February 10, 2012
still a few fights left
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Ta.
Phill - February 10, 2012
Clark getting beaten up in third round. Went down.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Buglioni fighting like it’s Prizefighter
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
A little eager to please his 400 fans
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Frank really leaves himself wide open when he's punching
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Fight goes full four, Buglioni clearly wins.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
He’s a little guilty of watching his punches. He throws a combo and then just leaves his hands down. Clark popped him a couple times and Frank is going to have problems with counter-punchers but at least he is fun to watch.
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
What weight is Frank
He looks bleedin massive
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
super middle
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Bradley “Aww Skeet” Skeete “Motherfucker” is up next
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
He needs to make that official. Too good.
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
I love that BoxNation still runs this incredibly old Klitschko commercial
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Billy Joe Saunders being interviewed
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
How tall is Skeete?
Seems tall and very skinny
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
6’1". Hence the illogical and absurd comparison to Tommy Hearns.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
What do you mean "illogical and absurb" :)
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Technician vs. Cutie
Which would you classify Skeete as?
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Still searching for identity
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
This style is physically painful to watch. He is clearly miles better than his opponent yet he has a complete reluctance to put more than 2 or 3 shots to the head together.
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
Walk forward dammit!!!!
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
so dull
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Anyone able to email me a link? Please!!
Phill - February 10, 2012
you still need one?
Chuck us your email if you do
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
Hi Phil
Did you manage to get a link to BN last friday , I cannot seem to find any streams for Box Nation and strangley not one person has uploaded the Mitchell vs Lora fight to YouTube? plus to make things worse my the better half will not let me order it :(
shaun cornish - February 16, 2012
Bleh. Bleh bleh bleh.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
What do people think of Enzo as an analyst?
He uses a lot of cliches.
I'm going slightly mad - February 10, 2012
Well, basically, to be fair, I think he’s good, at the end of the day. ;)
Phill - February 10, 2012
He does, but I think he’s pretty solid. He could stand to be more honest, he’s a bit chummy about everything. Maybe when he’s not an active fighter.
I also wish he’d just do this and forget about fighting since I don’t want to see him get beaten up anymore. He’s too nice of a guy.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
I’d second that. He’s a good bloke.
Phill - February 10, 2012
Phil, if you’re not set up yet, go to my profile page for my e-mail address, as I don’t have yours. I have a suggestion for you.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
Skeete wins a shutout. Lousy fight.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Skeete says he could have stopped him, but hurt his left hand. “he’s got the hardest head I’ve ever hit in my life.”
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Skeete: “I wanted to put on a show. I dropped him. … After my hand went, I had to ease off. … It’s all learning.”
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell up next. Should be a wipeout, unless Mitchell purposely grinds out rounds, which he’s said he will.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell on the way in
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
These guys eulogizing about Mitchell's win over Murray.
Rios demolished Murray without eating for five days, Mitchell won a back and forth contest. It was a good win and a good performance but I wish they would tone it down a little.
I'm going slightly mad - February 10, 2012
Mitchell vs Lora Round 1
Hey, Lora falls down halfway into the round. No knockdown. Lora swinging wild shots and Mitchell just in there to stand around, not throwing his hands.
Bleh.
Mitchell 10-9
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell vs Lora Round 2
Mitchell still doing nothing, then he hits Lora with a counter left and down goes Lora, who sits there for a bit. Now he’s back up and Mitchell is considering whether to finish this or try to get rounds in. Lora trying to make him fight. Good for Lora.
Mitchell stands on the ropes and takes shots, just keeping his head out of the way. This is on TV.
Mitchell 10-8
20-17
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Enzo does his best to credit Lora for Mitchell purposely not finishing.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
That was kind of a cute knockdown.
DrHenrik - February 10, 2012
Mitchell vs Lora Round 3
This fight continuing has nothing to do with Felix Lora. If Ricky Burns and his trainer are watching this to scout Kevin Mitchell, they’re on more dope than Mitchell was arrested for.
Lora chasing Mitchell around, trying to throw wild shots and land, but not coming close. “Good boxing by Kevin.” Sure. Better boxing would be saving this for the gym and fighting someone with a remote chance of winning.
Mitchell 10-9
Mitchell 30-26
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
So is Mitchell limited to European opponents because of his legal troubles?
I'm going slightly mad - February 10, 2012
He can’t leave the US yet that i know of.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Huh?
I'm going slightly mad - February 10, 2012
er, UK
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell vs Lora Round 4
10-9 Mitchell, 40-35
This is shit. Or “it is what it is oh well that’s boxing for you!”
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
I like Kevin Mitchell, but a big part of me wants to see Lora knock him out.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell flat-out running this round.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell falls down because he’s running so much. Mitchell’s losing this round, which is absurd.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
I’m not missing a foty candidate then, eh?
Phill - February 10, 2012
you’re not. Check you email.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
your
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
Thanks
Phill - February 10, 2012
49-45 Mitchell. He seems totally unprepared to actually fight. This is ridiculous.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Mitchell should consider finishing this thing before it gets worse than it did that round.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
He hasn't throw na right hand in an age
Maybe he damaged it?
Sweet science - February 10, 2012
he’s not really throwing much of anything.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
Maybe he damaged his arms or quite possibly his brain…
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
He’s doing exactly what he said he was going to do.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
I get logging rounds but this is just running around a ring and ducking. How is this helping?
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
This is one of my least favorite kind of fights.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
Jesus Christ, Enzo, we get it. LORA IS STRONG LORA IS STRONG LORA IS STRONG
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
If this were two guys nobody knew, it would be a lot closer on the cards than it is because of Mitchell’s tentative offense.
Scott Christ - February 10, 2012
It actually should be close on the cards.
DrHenrik - February 10, 2012
If the fight was is St. Louis, then Lora would have won every round but the KD round.
Waldo Rastel - February 10, 2012
What’s he up to?
Phill - February 10, 2012
logging rounds, if you mean mitchell.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
it’s not far from “logging rounds” to “loosing rounds”
DrHenrik - February 10, 2012
Why the f*** is Mitchell taking his baby into the ring???
DrHenrik - February 10, 2012
it’s not unheard of. Sentimental thing for them.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
kid’s too little for it to matter much to him. Was appalled to watch a 6 or so yr. old girl absolutely traumatized by her Dad’s KO one time on FNF, Vivian Harris. Awful footage.
BoxAnne - February 10, 2012
Well, that’s completely irresponsible.
DrHenrik - February 10, 2012
Just got here. I’ll try to catch up.
