Join us for live coverage of the Klitschko vs Chisora card!

This afternoon on American time, Vitali Klitschko will put his WBC heavyweight title on the line in Munich against Britain's Dereck Chisora in a fight that picked up a lot of attention yesterday when Chisora slapped Klitschko at the weigh-in.

Bad Left Hook will be here with live, round-by-round coverage of the card (we'll go live at 2:30 with the U.K. broadcast), and here's how you can watch and join us.

Fight time: 2:30 p.m. EST (U.K. TV) / 4:30 p.m. EST (U.S. TV)

Location: Olympiahalle - Munich, Germany

TV channel: BoxNation (U.K.) / Epix (U.S.) / RTL (Germany)

Odds: Klitschko is an enormous favorite, between -1400 and -1600, with Chisora the underdog at anywhere between +750 to +1000.

Undercard: Klitschko undercard regular Johnathon Banks (27-1-1, 18 KO) takes on Nicolai Firtha (20-9-1, 8 KO) in a 12-round heavyweight bout. ... Ukrainian junior welterweight Serhiy Fedchenko (29-1, 13 KO) meets Laszlo Fazekas (8-0-1, 6 KO) in an eight-round contest. ... Former British featherweight champ Stephen Smith (12-1, 6 KO) faces Arpad Vass (7-2, 5 KO) in another eight-rounder. ... Welterweight prospect Timo Schwartzkopf (5-0, 4 KO) meets Andre Deobald (4-2-2, 3 KO) in a six-round bout. ... And Emanuel Steward protégé Tony Harrison (4-0, 4 KO) continues his education against Suleyman Dag (9-31, 4 KO) in a four-round fight.

You can watch online legally if you're in the United States, at EpixHD.com. In the past they've streamed their fights live for anyone, but I'm not sure if they're still doing that for non-subscribers.

Star-divide

Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO) will be looking to win his 12th straight overall, a streak that dates back to 2003 (though there was a four-year retirement in the middle of the run), and his third straight by knockout. Last year, he got Odlanier Solis out in one (though due to injury), and pounded down Tomasz Adamek in the 10th round.

Chisora is looking to pull off what would be the biggest heavyweight upset in many years, and attempting to end the dominant reign of the brothers Klitschko, who have held the division in check since Vitali's return to action in 2008. Not only haven't the brothers lost, they almost never even lose a round, or a full minute of action.

The odds are long, and we find out today if Dereck Chisora can back up his mouth, or his slap.

Thank you, Scott, for the Epix link; I’ll try it. The best part besides the actual fight will be, as always, the BLH banter and analysis.

I second that DrRck. Thx Scott for the link.

If Vitali goes in there angry: Klitschko TKO-3

If Vitali goes in there composed: Klitschko TKO-8

Just to say BoxNation are slated as going live from Munich at 6.30pm GMT on the Sky planner.
They are also showing the Brian Magee – Rudy Markussen fight from Denmark, apparently.

No doubt there will be a load of Buncey bollocks and nonsense before they actually start showing any fighting though.
The other week his sidekick Steve Lillis kept referring to Amir Khan as Naseen Hamed.

just to confirm your post, epix will be showing it for US viewers with the free trial

I will say this for the Epix stream: I’ve had major issues running it smoothly every time I’ve tried in the past. The quality is very good…when it works.

I think I tried it once before, and it drove me nuts. But I’ll give it another go, just to have a springboard my my usual inanity.

interesting. hope it’s improved for today

It's early but

My stream looks fantastic so far. Signed up in ~15seconds
