The whole thing is just insane. You have to wonder if this makes for big interest in a fight between the two, though. Obviously it would be a hot ticket in the UK, but is it even bigger than that?

Furthermore, would Haye want this fight? He's said he's got no interest in returning for anything other than a fight with Vitali Klitschko, which is reportedly off the table, or Wladimir Klitschko, who has no known interest in a rematch with David Haye after their summer 2011 flop.
Is a personal beef like this one enough to lure David Haye back into the ring? He won't get Klitschko money to fight Chisora, but he'd make good money for sure. How much would Frank Warren pay, or be able to pay, to secure this fight on BoxNation?
By the way, I don't mean to make light of this whole thing, which is a disgrace at best, but you know this is where it's headed.

I said this in the other thread but it bears repeating that it’s clearly David Haye whos splits Adam Booth open with the tripod at 2:51. Makes Haye look even worse that Booth is hanging about lonesome afterwards arguing with Chisora.

Hey, I know Haye lost a lot of respect for the Klitscho fight
but I give him major props for standing up to that loud mout, brash punk Chisora. From my eyes, what I thought I seen was Haye get off the first punch and sock Chisora in the mouth before Chisora’s boys tried to jump in.
Chisora is a punk. Haye punches you, both of you guys are boxers, and you start talking about you’re gonna shoot him?!?!?! That stands for punk in my book. And all respect is now gone. Thats the problem with people now. They cant take an ass-whooping without reaching for a gun. Thanks Chisora, for constantly being a living stereotype by your constant dumb acions. Haye got the last laugh. Chisora is a big coward who thinks that he can intimidate people by talking and acting tough, too bad he’s not Tyson in the ring.

Chisora is a prick, no question, but I don’t see how you can just let Haye off the hook. He mouthed off, again, then glassed Chisora, before picking up a camera tripod and trying to brain whoever was standing in front of him (which hilariously turned out to be that Booth).
Then he ran away.
Chisor and Haye deserve each other. Both are classless, loudmouth douchebags. The difference is that Chisora tries to back it up in the ring, which doesn’t make him a better person, but makes hima more intersting fighter.

Well, overall, I sort of agree that Chisora’s a worse person than Haye, but he’s a much better fighter, because he actually fights. And in this particular instance, it seems like it’s all Haye all the way as far as blame goes.

I think Chisora’s actually mentally ill, but he’s not a coward. Better out the ring for him if he were. And it’s a pretty chaotic scene, can’t be sure, but sure seems like Haye started it, who’s majorly bigger than Chisora, so really as far as I can tell I can’t lay the blame on Chisora—as far as gun and “burn” threats go, words spoken in the heat of the moment don’t matter much to me, it’s not like he pulled a real gun or something.

disagree. Haye has no standing to “stand up to that loud mouth”. The fight wasn’t Haye’s, neither was the presser. I thought Haye came off like the kid at recess who didn’t get picked for either football team. “I wanna play too! I wanna play!” Except last time he got picked, he stubbed his toe and cried on the sideline.
We’ve got 15 HW’s willing to talk shit to the Klits and then never try to win when the bell rings. We’ve got one who roll the dice and give it his all. I’m with Chisora….at least until he’s in prison for really losing his grip.

But seriously, if Haye does fight Chisora, I see Haye winning. I think i’m the only one here, but I want Haye back. Not for the “hype and trash talk” that everyone thinks the division needs, but Haye the boxer. Haye is/was a classy fighter. Power, speed. He has it all. He fucked up with Wlad, but if he kept going, he still would have been too much for anyone else out there. As a boxer, I think Haye is a very good fighter, and it’s a shame he isn’t fighting. I want to see him back!

It’s a shame it doesn’t always show up.
Maybe he needs someone like Chisora to turn him vicious. If Haye came to throw leather, I think he’d kick Chisora’s ass. But if he went in with a shred of doubt, Chisora would eat him up.

Dereck Chisora is going to be an overnight star. Heck, in the States on ESPN, they showed a few seconds of highlights of the fight…in the ring, that is. And I have no doubts that this will make it across the pond as well. Chisora becoming the Mike Tyson of the UK, ha ha.

Don Charles summed it up when he called Haye a salesman.
He’s literally just that. I don’t see there being a chance of Haye actually fighting Chisora – he’s got no bottle, shows no desire to actually fight competitively in a “sport” and is only interested in fighting for the most money. Chisora’s a loose cannon, but heck, I respect the guy because he’s a serious fighter and he clearly wants to fight the best because that’s what fighters do. Haye will talk himself into another Klitschko fight, run for another 12 rounds and then spend the next 12 months dotted around at different media events. The act is tiresome; Haye is unbearable.

+1m, you completely encapsulated all that is haye. talk the big talk with no substance. on boxnation last night he was laughing about wlad fighting jean marc mormeck, aka the best win on haye’s record. he laughed at chisora, who put up a much better performance against vitali than haye did against wlad. and last but not least, how can he slag off the “klitschko opponents” when his heavyweight record consists of: valuev – overrated, fat, slow and talentless. john ruiz – too old, can he even be classed as overrated?, fat, slow, talentless, washed up awful. audley harrison – old, slow, talentless (as both boxer and dancer), no career accomplishments in the professional ranks and only got the fight off one punch against michael sprott who completely outclassed him for 11 rounds

Cruiserweight Mormeck was a great fighter
But is no way Haye’s best win. Maybe P4P, and peak-for-peak also, but that isn’t what you’re saying. There is no way Mormeck 2007 (or whenever it was) beats Valuev, or Ruiz, or even Barrett, at the times Haye fought them.
He was Haye’s best cruiserweight win (although I could also see an argument for Enzo Maccarinelli over that particular incarnation of Mormeck) but not his best career win, IMO.

I’d rather these two do what they did than the two biggest names in the sport saying how one is ducking the other and how once is on steroids…… Because of that, we now have guys accusing opponents of doping before/after a fight.

You only have to look at David Haye during the pre-fight commentary to know that he was jealous of Chisora’s opportunity (Pretty much claiming he didn’t have a hope in hell). Then after the fight when Chisora actually came to fight and gave it his all. Must’ve been hard to see another British fighter actually give a Klitschko a run for his money.
I don’t know the gentleman’s name but he called David Haye a “salesman”, perfect.
