Marco Antonio Rubio believes that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has this thing in the bag if he can't score a knockout, but the sportsbooks aren't quite buying it. Chavez is the favorite, as expected, but not by a huge margin:
| Chavez | Rubio | |
|---|---|---|
| Bovada | -400 | +300 |
| 5Dimes | -360 | +300 |
| SBG Global | -400 | +300 |
Chavez (44-0-1, 31 KO) is making his second defense of the WBC middleweight title. Rubio (53-5-1, 46 KO) would be picking up a career-best win and something close to a star-making win if he can pull off the upset.

The fights are live tonight at 10 p.m. EST on HBO, with the co-feature being the 122-pound title fight between Nonito Donaire and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr, but Bad Left Hook will have live coverage of the off-TV undercard streaming from Top Rank starting at 7:30 p.m. EST. It will conclude a huge day of live coverage.
